01 Les règles de formation (Formation Rules)
En anglais, l'adjectif de nationalité prend toujours une majuscule. Il se forme généralement avec un suffixe ajouté au nom du pays — mais il existe plusieurs familles, et quelques irréguliers à connaître par cœur.

02 Vocabulaire par continent
Pour chaque pays : le drapeau, l'adjectif de nationalité (utilisé aussi comme langue dans la plupart des cas), et le nom qui désigne un habitant — parfois différent de l'adjectif.

03 Points de grammaire à connaître
1. Toujours une majuscule
L'adjectif et le nom de nationalité prennent une majuscule en anglais, même en plein milieu d'une phrase.
she is frenchShe is French.2. "The" + adjectif = le peuple
Pour parler d'un peuple dans son ensemble : "the" + l'adjectif, sans -s, avec un verbe au pluriel.
The French love good food. · The Dutch are tall.3. Article devant certains pays
La plupart des pays n'ont pas d'article, mais certains noms officiels (pluriels, unions) en prennent un.
France, Japan, Kenya sans "the" — the United States, the UK, the Netherlands avec "the"4. Adjectif ≠ toujours le nom de personne
L'adjectif désigne aussi la langue, mais le nom qui désigne une personne peut être différent.
a Spanisha Spaniard5. Les adjectifs en -ese / -ish / -ch restent invariables
Au pluriel, ces adjectifs employés comme noms ne prennent pas de -s : on ajoute "people" si besoin.
