Lucy's Busy Day

This morning, Lucy was very happy because it was her birthday. She woke up and saw a beautiful gift from her parents on the table. Later, she went to school and felt excited because her friends had organized a small party for her during the break. However, in the afternoon, Lucy became sad when she remembered that her best friend, Mia, was sick and could not come to school. Lucy was also a little worried about Mia, so she decided to call her after school. When she heard Mia's voice on the phone, Lucy felt relieved because Mia said she was feeling better. In the evening, Lucy's family went to a restaurant to celebrate her birthday. She was surprised when she saw her grandparents waiting for her there. Lucy felt proud when her father said how much she had grown this year. Before going to bed, Lucy felt tired but very thankful for such a wonderful day.
