📐 1) Grammar

We use the Present Simple for habits, routines, facts, and things that happen regularly.

Affirmative

Structure: Subject + base verb

I work every day. · You play football. · We live in Bouaké. · He works in an office. · She studies English. · It rains a lot in June.

Negative

Structure: Subject + do/does + not + base verb

I do not (don't) work on Sunday. · You do not like coffee. / You don't like coffee. · He does not play tennis. / He doesn't play tennis. · She does not go to school on Saturday.

Questions

Structure: Do/Does + subject + base verb?

Do you speak French? · Do they live near here? · Does he like pizza? · Does she go to school every day?

Simple rules for A1/A2

Use he / she / it + verb + s in affirmative sentences: He plays, she works, it rains.
Use do for I / you / we / they. Use does for he / she / it.
📚 2) Vocabulary

Useful words for talking about daily routines and habits. English meaning and French meaning are shown together.

Every day — Chaque jour
Example: I study every day.
Usually — Habituellement
Example: She usually wakes up at 6.
Always — Toujours
Example: He always drinks tea.
Never — Jamais
Example: I never smoke.
Wake up — Se réveiller
Example: I wake up at 6 o'clock.
Brush teeth — Se brosser les dents
Example: She brushes her teeth every morning.
Go to school — Aller à l'école
Example: They go to school by bus.
Do homework — Faire les devoirs
Example: I do my homework after school.
Work — Travailler
Example: My father works in town.
Study — Étudier
Example: We study English.
Play — Jouer
Example: The children play football.
Sleep — Dormir
Example: Babies sleep a lot.

My Daily Routine

Sarah wakes up at 6:30 every morning. She takes a shower, eats breakfast, and goes to school. She usually studies in the afternoon and does her homework in the evening. On Saturdays, she helps her mother and sometimes visits her friends. Sarah is very organized, and she always finishes her tasks on time.
