Reading Text: The New Project

Sarah is a manager in a tech company. Last week, she had to take over a new project because her colleague fell ill. At first, she didn’t get along with the new team, but they slowly started to trust her.

During the first meeting, a team member brought up a serious problem regarding the budget. Sarah promised to look into it immediately. She told everyone to carry on with their current tasks while she found a solution.

To solve the issue, Sarah had to fill in several complicated forms for the finance department. She was looking forward to the weekend, but she had to work late on Friday to get through all the paperwork. By Monday, everything was resolved, and the project could finally go ahead.
