Nice: "Okay team, let's discuss the new printing partnership. Konan, what's your opinion?"
Konan: "I think it's a great opportunity, but the price is a bit high."
Adjoua: "Sorry to interrupt, may I add something? We could negotiate a better rate if we sign a one-year contract."
Nice: "That's a fair point, Adjoua. Konan, do you agree?"
Konan: "I see your point, but I'm still a bit worried about the delivery time."
Nice: "Understood. Let's propose a trial period of two months before signing the full contract."
Adjoua: "I agree with that solution."
Konan: "Yes, that sounds reasonable. Let's go with the trial period."
Nice: "Perfect, we have a decision. I'll contact the printing company tomorrow."

📖 READING COMPREHENSION

A Meeting at N'SIYO Group

Every Monday, N'SIYO Group organizes a team meeting to discuss ongoing projects. Last week, Rodrigue chaired the meeting and started by presenting the agenda: the new bookstore website, the printing partnership, and the tutoring schedule for Répétiteur Pro.

When Rodrigue asked for opinions about the printing partnership, Fatou took the floor and expressed her opinion clearly: "I believe this partnership could really help us publish faster." Konan, however, disagreed politely: "I see your point, but I'm concerned about the cost."

Adjoua wanted to add something, so she said: "Sorry to interrupt, but may I suggest an idea?" Rodrigue welcomed her interruption because it was done diplomatically. Adjoua proposed a solution: "What if we negotiate a discount for a long-term contract?"

After discussing the pros and cons together, the team reached an agreement. They decided to test the partnership for two months before signing a full contract. Rodrigue summarized the discussion and assigned action items: Adjoua would contact the printing company, and Fatou would prepare the budget report by Friday.
