Last weekend, Léa decided to spend an entire day speaking only English, even at home. She woke up thinking in English, listened to a podcast during breakfast, and forced herself to describe her plans out loud before leaving the house. At first, it felt strange and a little uncomfortable, especially when she couldn't find the right word. Instead of switching back to French, she used simple synonyms to keep going. In the afternoon, she watched a documentary without subtitles and wrote a short summary afterward. By the evening, she noticed she was making fewer pauses and speaking more naturally. The experience was tiring, but it showed her how much progress she had made. She decided to repeat this immersion challenge every week until her B2 exam.
